Dr Stuart Prosser

Stuart is a local graduate, having completed his advanced diploma in obstetrics in 2003. Following the completion of his obstetric training, he embarked on a four year rural placement in Narrogin. During that time he was actively involved in obstetrics.

Having decided to return to Perth in 2008, I chose to continue my obstetric career at Mead Medical Group. Together with Dr Greg Caddy, we decided to establish Hills Obstetrics in 2010. We are determined to deliver a high level of care and establish a model that will lead to better outcomes, in particular higher level of patient satisfaction.

Stuart currently offers deliveries across all of the sites covered by Hills Obstetrics. He undertakes caesarean sections weekly at Bentley Health Service. He also offers all aspects of obstetric care. Stuart looks forward to delivering you a fantastic obstetric service.

Dr Greg Caddy

Greg graduated from the University of WA in 1982. After 3 hospital training years including terms at Princess Margaret and King Edward Memorial Hospitals, he moved to general practice in Kalgoorlie for 10 years. He delivered approximately 100 babies per year over this time and developed an interest in obstetrics and care of the newborn. On his return to Perth he did further obstetric studies at KEMH and sat the Diploma of Obstetrics examination in Melbourne. He provided private obstetric care at Undercliffe and Kalamunda hospitals until they were closed and also a public obstetric service at Swan Districts until this became a specialist only service. He has been delivering at Bentley Hospital for the last 6 years and has developed an interest in establishing a high quality general practitioner/midwife based obstetric unit.

Dr Caddy has now delivered over 2000 babies. He and Dr Prosser are committed to a model of obstetric care where quality anaesthetic services, normal vaginal deliveries, assisted vaginal deliveries and caesarian care are provided.
